COMPLIANCE UNDERSTANDING AND PRINCIPLES
Compliance Management in DB ML Group is responsible for ensuring Group-wide compliance with laws and rules, and is a major element of our corporate culture. The activities of DB ML AG are subject to legal requirements with a national and international impact, and are also subject to values and rules which the company has established itself. The corporate values of DB ML Group have been summarized in a code of conduct which is valid throughout the Group. The aim of the code of conduct is to support the executive bodies and employees of DB ML Group with regard to complying with and implementing the rules with regard to society, competitors, officials and business partners, the owner and also in dealings with one another. Our employees and senior executives receive training with regard to the contents of the code of conduct and also with regard to the relevant laws and rules within the framework of our various training programs in line with a risk-based approach. The senior executives of the corporate divisions and responsible organizational entities are responsible for ensuring that they themselves and their employees conduct themselves in line with the relevant regulations.
In order to ensure that the corporate organization is consistent with the relevant regulations, the compliance management system has been enhanced to include a clearly preventative focus, in particular with regard to local structures in the business unit and subsidiaries. CODE OF CONDUCT
The activities of DB ML AG are subject to national and international legal requirements and standards of conduct which the company has set itself. Accordingly, the existing principles of conduct in DB Group were revised and translated into a code of conduct which is applicable throughout DB Group. The code of conduct represents the enterprise values of DB Group. The aim of the code of conduct is to support the executive bodies and employees of DB Group with regard to complying with and implementing the rules of conduct in all dealings with the company, its competitors, holders of office and business partners as well as the owners, and also to provide support for all dealings between the above parties. Our employees and managers are trained regarding the contents of the Code of Conduct and respect the relevant laws and rules in our various training programs in pursuit of a risk-based approach. The senior executives of the divisions and relevant organization entities ensure that the enterprise values set out in the code of conduct are observed by all employees and business partners.
