The “Rail made simple” initiative on the right track: customer survey on IT tools.

The “Rail made simple” initiative conducts a satisfaction survey once a year to determine customers' familiarity with, use of, and satisfaction with its tools.

They survey is given to customers in operations, dispatching, timetables, sales, construction and maintenance and to fellow Netz colleagues who use “Rail made simple” apps.

The 2016 survey asked respondents about the GretA, IKAs and strecken.info apps as well as the NeCo network cockpit, the platform that hosts GretA and IKAs. The results showed that the “Rail made simple” initiative is on the right track, and more than half of users are satisfied with the tools.
