DB is a supporter of the Reading Foundation, which aims to promote a love of reading.

From life on the streets back to mainstream society

The Deutsche Bahn Foundation supports Off Road Kids, the only organisation that helps homeless children on a national scale in Germany. Its social workers try to give kids who have run away from home new prospects for the future.

Working together for a culture of tolerance

DB trainees have taken a clear stance against xenophobia, right-wing extremism, racism and discrimination through the "Deutsche Bahn Trainees against Hatred and Violence" project, which promotes a culture of tolerance and respect.
