Deutsche Bahn AG’s plant sites can be very widespread. This often results in long distances of up to 2,000 meters for employees. To cover these distances as efficiently as possible and to transport materials and tools, Deutsche Bahn AG relies on e-scooters.
At the ICE plant in Cologne-Nippes, the scooters are powered by renewable energy from a DB-owned solar power system. In addition, the three-wheeled ICE Sprinters are made from recyclable materials.
